I'm bad at keeping up on this...

So I'm bad at keeping up on this, and I'm pretty sure no one reads it anyhow, but that is okay with me. It gives me a place to write down what's going on. So here's what has been going on lately.

The week of thanksgiving, I spent in Flanagan. It was a much needed break from things and I got to spend some great time with Jeff and some friends. It was supposed to be a week off of work, but I ended up forking 3 out of four days, which is okay with me. I ended up getting an eye infection, but that is all cleared up now. Thank goodness it was a very slight infection and was better within a few days. The Monday of Thanksgiving, Jeff and I ended up spending some time with Reid at Smith's, its always a good time with him. Thanksgiving day we were able to each luch with my family and then dinner with his family. It was a good day and we got to see Bobby, he surprised everyone by being home. He is leaving soon for Iraq (Keep him in your prayers!)

Saturday Jeff and I attended the wedding reception of my high school friend, Cory and his new wife Lauren. It was a nice casual reception, as they were married back in Feb. in TN. It was great to get to see him and meet Lauren, I don't think I had seen Cory in about 3 or 4 years! Later that night we headed back to Flanagan and went out with Reid and his fiance Katie. She is a great person, and we are excited for their July wedding. They were just engaged a few weeks ago so they are early in the planning stages, but Katie was telling us all about it!

On another note, this weekend (Dec. 13th) my baby brother is getting married. He is marrying Kelli Embry at Calvary United Methodist Church in Normal. So this past weekend was really busy finishing up final details and getting everything together for the wedding. We are all pretty excited to have everyone together. Aunt Kathy, Uncle Dennis, Phil, Whitney, and Aiden are all flying in from New Hampshire on Friday to be here for the wedding---Wedding pictures will be posted in a future post for sure!!!

This week is finals week, and I couldn't be more excited. I have two finals done, and have accounting on Wednesday. I am doing pretty good, as I have basically a day and a half to finish my studying for it. I was really worried about my finance class, but I worked really hard and made it through, got a C, but that is all I needed.

I'm off to study and work on editing some pictures for mom.

Laters...

here are some pictures from recently:

Kuba is getting big- 50.5 lbs. at 16 weeks!

Sid is in uncle Neil's wedding---he is going to be adorable this weekend, he loves his tux!

just updating

This week has been pretty good so far...well it's only Tuesday so we'll see what the rest of the week brings. Last weekend we had Sid all weekend while Nathan and Jena were out doing other stuff. He is just too funny! His favorite word is "MA" and not just saying it he has to scream it all of the time. If you say what he will say hi and wave at you--adorable.

Only a few more weeks until Neil's wedding. We put Sid's tux on him and it fits perfectly and he looks so grown up in it.

Last weekend I stayed at mom and dad's and just hung out. I found out last week that I actually didn't have to take my advertising class because it was just going to be extra credits that I didn't need. So needless to say I dropped that class and I'm only taking 3 classes now and I feel like I have a lot of extra time. All of that extra time is being put towards my finance class that is kicking my butt :(. Next week is a week off of school for Thanksgiving, I'm ready for a break for sure. Oh yea, I was informed last week that I am on track to graduate in May so hopefully May 10th I will be a college graduate :) That's too exciting to say

Last- shout out to Reid and Katie- Congratualtions- wish you a very happy life together.

This week :)

This week has been pretty busy for everyone! I am in the last week of my second trimester at Franklin for the Fall. I have completed 12 credit hours in twelve weeks as of today, and Saturday will finish another 4 hours! I have to say I am pretty Damn proud of myself!!! :) Next week I start another 6 week class and keep going in my 3 Heartland classes (10 credits!). By the middle of December I will have completed 30 credits in 16 weeks--I am too crazy.

Jeff took Kuba to the vet (Dr. Getty) on Tuesday. He is 12 weeks old and weighs 35 lbs. He has grown 13 pounds in three weeks...he's on his way to being a big boy. He is so fun to be around and very protective of Jeff and I.

That's all for now...b/c I am off to work until 8.

Hopefully the first of many

Well where to start... Here is what has been going on in the past few months in my life!

1. Labor Day weekend Jeff closed on his house and we soon started moving things in/painting. His home is often my weekend home and we are still in the process of updating and/or painting a lot of the house.

2. School has started and is in full swing. This semester I am taking an overload at Franklin University. Next weekend I will finish my 2nd round of 6-week classes. Total at Franklin this semester I will have completed 20 credits! I am also taking classes at Heartland, 10 credits to be exact. I think I am nuts for doing this, but it will all be worth it.

3. On October 5th, Jeff and I went and got our puppy! We had been wanting one for awhile, but were unable to find the breed that we wanted. Jeff had been watching the paper for English Mastiff's in the area, and finally found one. So we went and met the puppys and ended up bringing one home. His name is Kuba and we are having so much fun with him, except for the biting phase he is in right now :).

4. My family has been super busy the past few months as well. We complete renovated the main floor of my parents house. It was a ton of work but completely worth it. We had a lot of help from our family and friends and would have never gotten it done with out them!

5. My nephew is 18 months, growing like a weed, and ADORABLE!

He is running around, in to everything, jabbering but not saying much yet. He loves his Uncle Neil aka "Chunky Unky" and latches to Jeff when he is around. We have so much fun with him everytime we get to see him!
