Wow I need to update more....

I haven't posted since July...wow I have a ton to update readers with!

In July, Jeff and I got engaged. The big day is 08.21.10!!! We have lots of things planned so far. Our ceremony will be at St. John's Lutheran Church in Flanagan. The reception will be at the Pontiac Elk's Country Club (http://pontiacelks.com/facilitypictures.html). We have our photographer, DJ, rehersal dinner, florist booked also. Still working on a baker for the day. I have begun to look at dresses and asked my bridesmaids so we are well under way.

The beginning of August my mom and I attened the baby shower for my great friend Jen in Oswego. Jen's mom and sister's in law hosted the party. Mom and I were able to go up the night before and spend time with Jen and Carol and get to catch up on things.

On August 29th, my younger brother Neil's baby, Madelyn Grace was welcomed to the world. She came in at 8 lbs. 12 oz and 19 inches with a ton of hair! Neil is a very proud daddy!

We celebrated Jeff's birthday on August 30th with a day at home not doing much of anything!

A few days later, On September 2nd my birthday, I got one of the best wake-up calls ever. My friend Jen had delivered her baby! From the time she found out she was pregnant she told me she was going to have the baby on my birthday. Well she knew best, she went into labor and had a gorgeous little boy Noah. He will forever be my Birthday Buddy, and I his Auntie Natalie :) I'm so proud to have him as my nephew and share my birthday with him!!

Here is one of me and Noah during his first trip to Saybrook to visit Auntie Natalie, Grandma Pfoff, and meet Madelyn and the rest of the crew.

It was such a great time to have Jen and Noah come visit and I can't wait to go visit them again and see the changes in Noah. That is all for now. I promise I will update more often :)

We're getting married! We (well at least I am...I think Jeff is too) are pretty excited about August 21, 2010. This will be our wedding date :). We are working on details and will be for the next year--the big stuff is booked so now it's on to the smaller stuff. YAY!

WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!

Cub's Blue print is only fitting for this post!

Last Thursday, July 2, 2009, Jeff asked me to marry him!!!! I of course said yes, with no
hesitation!

We are very early in the planning stages, but it looks like next August will be the big day :)

Our proposal story was definatley like I had imaged, the two of us pretty much by ourselves. Jeff gave me a Cubs jersey, so I went to put it on. But when I went to put it on I wasn't going to look and see if it had a name on the back because I had tried it on before and knew that there was nothing on the back of it. Little did I know that there was something on the back of it! When I went to put it on Jeff said wait there is something on the back of it. So I put it in my lap and looked at it and it said 'Mrs. Iverson'. He then got down on one knee and asked me then said well what is your answer. I of course said YES!!

I have pictures of after that I will post soon, but for now this is it!

I'm bad at keeping up on this...

So I'm bad at keeping up on this, and I'm pretty sure no one reads it anyhow, but that is okay with me. It gives me a place to write down what's going on. So here's what has been going on lately.

The week of thanksgiving, I spent in Flanagan. It was a much needed break from things and I got to spend some great time with Jeff and some friends. It was supposed to be a week off of work, but I ended up forking 3 out of four days, which is okay with me. I ended up getting an eye infection, but that is all cleared up now. Thank goodness it was a very slight infection and was better within a few days. The Monday of Thanksgiving, Jeff and I ended up spending some time with Reid at Smith's, its always a good time with him. Thanksgiving day we were able to each luch with my family and then dinner with his family. It was a good day and we got to see Bobby, he surprised everyone by being home. He is leaving soon for Iraq (Keep him in your prayers!)

Saturday Jeff and I attended the wedding reception of my high school friend, Cory and his new wife Lauren. It was a nice casual reception, as they were married back in Feb. in TN. It was great to get to see him and meet Lauren, I don't think I had seen Cory in about 3 or 4 years! Later that night we headed back to Flanagan and went out with Reid and his fiance Katie. She is a great person, and we are excited for their July wedding. They were just engaged a few weeks ago so they are early in the planning stages, but Katie was telling us all about it!

On another note, this weekend (Dec. 13th) my baby brother is getting married. He is marrying Kelli Embry at Calvary United Methodist Church in Normal. So this past weekend was really busy finishing up final details and getting everything together for the wedding. We are all pretty excited to have everyone together. Aunt Kathy, Uncle Dennis, Phil, Whitney, and Aiden are all flying in from New Hampshire on Friday to be here for the wedding---Wedding pictures will be posted in a future post for sure!!!

This week is finals week, and I couldn't be more excited. I have two finals done, and have accounting on Wednesday. I am doing pretty good, as I have basically a day and a half to finish my studying for it. I was really worried about my finance class, but I worked really hard and made it through, got a C, but that is all I needed.

I'm off to study and work on editing some pictures for mom.

Laters...

here are some pictures from recently:

Kuba is getting big- 50.5 lbs. at 16 weeks!

Sid is in uncle Neil's wedding---he is going to be adorable this weekend, he loves his tux!

just updating

This week has been pretty good so far...well it's only Tuesday so we'll see what the rest of the week brings. Last weekend we had Sid all weekend while Nathan and Jena were out doing other stuff. He is just too funny! His favorite word is "MA" and not just saying it he has to scream it all of the time. If you say what he will say hi and wave at you--adorable.

Only a few more weeks until Neil's wedding. We put Sid's tux on him and it fits perfectly and he looks so grown up in it.

Last weekend I stayed at mom and dad's and just hung out. I found out last week that I actually didn't have to take my advertising class because it was just going to be extra credits that I didn't need. So needless to say I dropped that class and I'm only taking 3 classes now and I feel like I have a lot of extra time. All of that extra time is being put towards my finance class that is kicking my butt :(. Next week is a week off of school for Thanksgiving, I'm ready for a break for sure. Oh yea, I was informed last week that I am on track to graduate in May so hopefully May 10th I will be a college graduate :) That's too exciting to say

Last- shout out to Reid and Katie- Congratualtions- wish you a very happy life together.
